Saturday and Lots of Cats

I was up early as usual. I made my bed, dressed and have fed four cats and two kittens this morning. I am ready for the day.  I hear thunder and I assume there will be rain this morning. Yes, it is predicted to be 95 degrees and AM thunderstorms. I did catch "the weather on the 8's".

Tomorrow is to be 100 degrees and sunny, Monday is to be 101 degrees and sunny, Tuesday is to be101 degrees too and sunny, Wednesday is to be 87 degrees and scattered thunderstorms, Thursday is to be 88 degrees and AM showers, and Friday is to be 88 degrees and mostly sunny. That's the week!

Friday and A Cool Apartment

The apartment was cool all night and I was up at 5:00AM, made my bed, dressed and got myself ready for the day. I opened the front door but for some reason no cats were out there. I fixed myself some Chai Latte and came into the den to work on this blog. I did catch "the weather on the 8's"and I will post it here.

Today is to be 97 degrees and sunny, Saturday is to be 97 degrees and mostly sunny,, Sunday is to be 99 degrees and sunny, Monday is to be 101 degrees and sunny, Tuesday is to be 100 degrees and mostly sunny,  Wednesday is to be 93 degrees and PM thunderstorms, Thursday is to be 88 degrees and AM Thunderstorms. That's the week..two days of rain and otherwise it will just be very hot.

Thursday and a Cool Apartment

 I went out to Leslie and John's for the night. When I left here last evening, the men were still working on the air conditioners.  John slept upstairs and Leslie and I slept in their king sized bed. I slept very well and was up at 5:00AM. Leslie was also up and sitting on their front porch with a cup of Chai Latte. She made me some and we sat outdoors and visited and had kiki, their remaining Corgi, out there too. She is so cute!

I packed my stuff up and put everything in the car and left to try to  beat the air conditioning men to my apartment. The apartment was 75 degrees here this morning.They had evidently got it working last evening after I left. And Leslie had called in an order of Pizza to our Pizza Hut here in Caney and had me stop and pick it up for our supper. It was very good. I had mine with Root Beer. John had his with Dr. Pepper.

I hope the coolness of the apartment this morning is an indication of them having got it going after I left last evening. It is 75 degrees here in the apartment. They thought they finally had it working as I was leaving but I had had several false alarms already yesterday so I went on out to John and Leslie's anyhow.

I need to straighten up the garage now. I have boxes to put away.

No rain again!

I got the garage straightened up. and everything put away where it belongs.

Wednesday and Social Security

I was up early again this morning..in fact, I was awake much of the night. Then I made my bed, dressed and got myself ready for the day.

I will have my hair done at 9:00AM this morning. Then I will come on back home and wait for the air conditioning people to come to install my new air conditioner and furnace. It will be good to have cool air and be able to count on it. If it weren't for the ceiling fans I would be miserable much of the time.

I haven't opened the front door yet to see how many cats are waiting for their breakfasts. And I haven't caught "the weather on the 8's" yet either.

I finally opened the door to  five cats. I took four bowls of cat food out the them and they ate until they were full.

Then I  caught "the weather on the 8's" and here it is. Today is to be 93 degrees and sunny, Thursday is to be 95 degrees and partly cloudy,  Friday is to be 96 degrees and mostly sunny,  Saturday is to be 97 degrees and sunny, Sunday is to be  98 degrees and sunny, That's the week! No rain this week.

I will leave for Coffeyville and my hair appointment at 8:00AM. Then afterward I will come back home.

Tuesday and the yard mowed

I was up at my usual 4:00AM, made my bed and dressed and got myself ready for the day. 

My yard was mowed last evening. My landlord's grandson did it and he did a good job. My landlord did the trimming and kind of supervised. The grandson mows his grandfather's yard too. They work together well. I gave the grandson, Benton, a check for his work. I think this is going to work out fine. Jackson, the previous mower, just wasn't reliable. I never knew when he was coming and he didn't do a real good job. He didn't trim at all. Or if he did, it was a sloppy job. 

They are supposed to install my new air conditioner and furnace tomorrow. I will get my hair done and then come back home and see how it's going.

Today is supposed to be 89 degrees and partly cloudy, tomorrow is to be 94 degrees and sunny, and Wednesday is to be 94 degrees and mostly sunny, Thursday is to be 94 degrees and mostly sunny., Friday is to be 5 degrees mostly sunny, and Saturday is to be 96 degrees and mostly sunny,  Sunday is to be 100 degrees and sunny and Monday is to be 100 degrees and mostly sunny! That's the week! Mostly sunny and partly cloudy!

Monday and a Trip to Independence

I was up at my usual early time...around 4:00AM. Today I will go to Independence and see if I can get some service on my hearing aide.The right one is the one that is not working. It needs a rubber tip to get into my ear. I am out of those tips. 

I made my bed, dressed and got myself ready for the day. 

I opened the front door to three cats so I took out some dishes with both wet and dry cat food..Some of them are still eating and some have not come over yet.

I did catch "the weather on the 8's" and here it is. Today is to be 86 degrees and mostly cloudy, Tuesday is to be 87 degrees and partly cloudy. Wednesday is to be 92 degrees and  sunny, Thursday is to be 92 degrees and sunny, Friday is to be 94 degrees and mostly sunny, Saturday is to be 97 degrees and sunny and Sunday is to be 97 degrees and mostly sunny. That's the week! No rain this week! Lots of cloudy and sunny!

Sunday and Church

 I was up early. as usual. I made my bed, dressed and got myself ready for the day.

When I opened the front door, four cats were out there waiting for their breakfast..I fixed it...both dry cat food and wet cat food, Now I am out of both and will need to go to Dollar General and buy more later today.

I also caught "the weather on the 8's". Here it is.

Today is to be 82 degrees and AM thunderstorms, Monday is to be 83 degrees and scattered thunderstorms, Tuesday is to be 84 degrees and AM thunderstorms and  Wednesday is to be 91 degrees and partly cloudy, Thursday is to be 91 degrees and partly cloudy, Friday is to be 95 degrees and sunny and Saturday is to be 96 degrees and sunny. That's the week! Three days of rain and the rest partly cloudy or sunny.

More Later... I still need to go to Dollar General and buy more cat food...both dry and wet.

We had a good service at church this morning. Leslie had a good sermon and John's foot appears to be better. He has an appointment with the doctor in Bartlesville tomorrow to have it checked out..
