Wednesday and Bunco at the Senior Center in Coffeyville

I slept well last night and was up at 4:45AM, dressed and made my bed and got myself ready for the day.

I will go over to Coffeyville and get my hair colored and cut at 9:00AM, maybe go to the library to read and later at 1:00PM go to the senior center for Bunco. I will need to get a treat before I leave town. I will also need to stop by the bank and get some cash for the week and write a check for the mowing this afternoon. Benton will be mowing after he gets home from school.

Stephen's son, John, stopped by last evening and picked up the coffeecake for him. I checked later and sure enough, he did get it.

I caught "the weather on the 8's" at 5:51AM and here it is.

Today will be 91 degrees and sunny, Tomorrow is to be 96 degrees and partly cloudy and Friday will be 98 degrees and partly cloudy. Saturday is to be 96 degrees and partly cloudy. Sunday is to be 88 degrees and AM showers and Monday is to be 76 degrees and  AM showers  and Tuesday is to be 78 degrees and partly cloudy. That's the week! Two days of showers and one day of sunny and four days of partly cloudy. At least we will get some rain this week.   That's wonderful!

I noticed I had missed a call from Gay O'rourke yesterday so I called her back. We talked awhile and she had wanted me to come to Chanute for her 86th birthday on this Friday. I may do that. It has been a long while since I made that trip. She wants to meet at 10:30AM at Opie's..a nice restaurant there. It has been a long time since I have done that. I may do that since it has been a year since I have been to Chanute and seen Gay.

Tuesday and Another Good Night's Sleep

 I slept well last night and was up at 5:30AM, made my bed and dressed and got myself ready for the day. It's 6:18AM now.

I will go to Copan today for lunch. It has been a few days since I have done that. I have been going to Eggbert's for breakfast instead.

I am going to Coffeyville tomorrow to the senior center for Bunco. I will stop at the cell phone store there and see if they have any stylus' to fit my phone. I don't like using my finger to text. I like using a stylus's instead. I have lost the last one I had. Yesterday evening I went to Independence's Wal Mart looking for one but neither that store or the two phone stores across the street from Walmart had stylus' to fit my phone. I will try Coffeyville's tomorrow.

I found the last stylus I had in my car last night. I will try to keep it safe from now on. And I will still keep looking for more.

More Even Later... Now I will go back to the book I have been reading.

I read for awhile and then saw two cats waiting for their breakfast..Grey and Whitey. I took both dry and wet cat food out to them.

They are still eating.

Today is to be 90 degrees and partly cloudy, Wednesday will be 91 degrees and mostly sunny, Thursday is to be 97 degrees and partly cloudy, Friday is to be 97 degrees and partly cloudy, Saturday is to be 94 degrees and partly cloudy and Sunday is to be 86 degrees and AM showers with lightening. and Monday is to be 82 degrees and AM showers. That's the week! A couple of days of rain..thank goodness!

Monday and Another Hot Day

I slept very well again last night . I woke up over an hour ago.I made my bed. dressed and had my Chai Latte and a breakfast bar. I fed four cats and they are still out front eating..There were just four  of them.  Grey, Blondie, Blackie and  Whitey.  I will need to go to Dollar General later after they open and buy both wet cat food and dry cat food. I am out of both as well as powdered sugar for the Coffee cake topping. 

I saved the coffee cake for  my landlord, Stephen .

Today is to be 90 degrees and sunny, Tomorrow is to be 90 degrees again and partly cloudy Wednesday is to be partly cloudy as well. Thursday is to be 95 degrees and mostly sunny, Friday is to be 97 degrees and partly cloudy Saturday is to be 91 degrees and isolated thunderstorms, Sunday is to be 87 degrees and AM showers. We really need the rain! 

Benton, Stephen's grandson,  will mow for me on Wednesday this week. It may be the last time it will need mowing. Stephen plans to be here today to pick up his coffeecake. I told him I had saved it for him.

More Later. I will go check on the cats now. There were four out there and I fed them again. Then I went to the Dollar General store and bought some more wet cat food and some more dry cat food That should hold them another week...hopefully

I have read some this afternoon but earlier this morning I went to Eggbert's and had breakfast. It was, as always, very good. I had an omelet and toast.... my usual.

 

Back From the Reunion Campgrounds

I got home late last evening from the campgrounds. I put away my luggage and took my bath and went to bed. I was very tired.

But it was a good experience.  There were several I knew there and we had some good meals too. Donna met me there and told me what she wanted with me. I don't want to post it here though.

I have baked the coffeecake for the Church's early breakfast this morning. It is cooling now.

I will check on the cats soon. I am sure they are hungry. They were very hungry last evening after no food for a full day.

I have had my Chai Latte this morning and a breakfast bar.

They were not out there. It's too early I guess, It's Sunday at 2:50AM.

I finally found "the weather on the 8's" Today is to be 91 degrees and sunny, Tomorrow is to be 89 degrees and mostly sunny Tuesday is to be  89 degrees and mostly sunny and  Wednesday is to be 91 degrees and partly cloudy, Thursday is to be 94 degrees and partly cloudy, Friday is to be 93 degrees and isolated thunderstorms and Saturday is to be 82 degrees and scattered thunderstorms. That's the week... Three days of sunny or mostly sunny, Wednesday of mostly cloudy and Thursday partly cloudy and Friday isolated thunderstorms and Saturday scattered thunderstorms. That's the week,,,finally some rain! Friday and Saturday.

It's Sunday at 5:52AM now.. 

I have been watching TV and it is just fine today. I finally opened the door and found three cats waiting for their breakfast. It was whitey, Grey and  Blacky. They are eating their breakfast now. Blondie is not out there yet.
