Sunday and a Busy Afternoon

I slept well last night even though I went to bed at 9:00. I have a time trying to stay up any longer. There was really nothing worth watching last night. So I watched Forensic Files.  Most were reruns.

I fed Missy this morning and checked my e-mail. I worked the crossword puzzle in the newspaper.  That's about all. Bob has the banana nut bread done for today's church school class.  My little great granddaughters just love the treat every week.

I will do the newsletters after lunch and then go out to Walmart and buy some groceries. I don't need much but what I do need is important so I will try not to buy anything not on my list. I need to figure out what to have for lunches next week. I think it's time for ground beef again. We just had tuna noodle casserole and chicken tenders. I used to plan a week of lunches but I have got out of the habit of doing that so now it's just a couple of meals at a time.

I checked my younger son's facebook page and found another photo of the view from his backyard.

I was a little concerned about flooding but he told me that was a 14 foot drop to the water.  So what a view!

My boys are really good about calling me almost every week. I really appreciate that.  I see my daughter every week at church. So I am happy we are all able to stay in touch.

More later...

Church was good!  I missed it but everyone told me it was good! I took a crying four year old into the all purpose room and read to him so his mom could enjoy the services.

Afterward, we ate at Sirloin Stockade and then I came home and did my Sunday newsletter. I am finished with that now and guess I'll go out to Walmart and buy a few things on my list.

More later...

I got my groceries and then read again after I got them put away.

About 5:00 Bob came over to watch 60 Minutes. He left at 7:00. I tried to watch TV after that but there simply wasn't anything worth watching so I finally just came in here to finish my blog.

By the way, today my daughter told me all 11 of the puppies are gone. They have all been adopted. The last Corgi will be delivered the 14th of February.

Seems really near the water to me. But I am old and overly cautious.

too much I guess!!
