Friday at Last!

I'm always glad to see Friday come. Aime came with two of her compatriots from Dallas yesterday afternoon. The two from Dallas interviewed me. It went smoothly and Aime just waited in the hall while they did their questions for me.  They left around 4:00 and I got back to putting away the DVDs. Before I left at 5:00, I got them all caught up. It was a productive afternoon.

Today for lunch we will have the rest of our hamburger pie casserole and Bob's salad. I still have the cupcakes so we will have those for dessert.

The apartment is clean so I really have nothing to do this morning except go to exercise class. Earlier this month, they celebrated the birthdays of those born in March by having cake and then we took a photo of the celebrants.  You can see we are all seniors. The man in this photo is Karan's husband, Bobby. The woman in the plaid shirt is Marilyn, my neighbor from across the fourplex where I live.

I finally got the photos from Maia's birthday party downloaded and also some from the women's retreat from last weekend.   Maybe I can post some from each of those.

My son, Scott, called me this morning on his way to Jacksonville and we had a good 45 minute chat.  He has had a couple of job interviews and is waiting for the end of the month hoping for a for a call back.

More later about today.

I spent from 1:00 until 3:00 scanning bar codes on mysteries. I finished one entire aisle.  I will start Monday on the second aisle. After 3:00 I put away DVDs and filed the boxes in bookcases.  Much of the books are on the bottom shelf and they are very hard to scan without actually kneeling on the floor. At my age, that's a challenge!

Bob came over at 6:00 and we watched Brooks and Shields on PBS. They always give an interesting commentary.

We had the rest of the white wine and a bowl of ice cream. He left at 7:00 or so and I took my bath and put my PJs on and sat in the recliner with Missy in my lap. At 9:00 we went to bed. Missy was just as tired as I was.
