Monday Again and Exercises

I guess I will go to exercise class even though Bob won't be there. He has a doctor's appointment this morning at 9:00 so will miss the class.

I work this afternoon, of course. I will probably be scanning bar codes for the inventory again. I got one entire aisle done Friday but it took me two hours. I will probably start on the second aisle this afternoon. The hardest part is the shelves on the bottom near the floor. I have to either kneel or just sit on the floor to scan those bar codes.

Today I plan to have tuna patties for lunch with fried potatoes and the leftover corn casserole.  Bob will bring a salad of some kind. I'm not sure about dessert at this point. I had a little coffee cake left from church yesterday but I ate that with my coffee this morning.

Betty, my landlady, had told me last week that she would send a man to do something about the leaves around our apartments.  They are about two feet deep. I tried to blow them near the street on Friday but they were too wet from the recent rain. When the sun come sup, I will take a photo of them and post it here so those who read this blog will see that I'm not exaggerating.  Last year I raked and bagged them all but I simply cannot do that this year because I am working in the afternoons and I already come home from work every afternoon very tired. I am on my feet all afternoon and there is no opportunity to sit down. Four hours of constant walking and standing is exhausting at my age.

Here are some photos of the leaves piled up in our yard. I tried to blow them out to the street but they were too wet and there were way too many.
Here's another scene..
And the other side of my apartment where the air conditioner is located.
More later....

Bob came over for the news and wine but went home at 7:00. I took my bath and put my PJs on and sat in the recliner to watch that PBS special on Cancer. Unfortunately I fell asleep and missed most of it.

Wish I had those leaves for my garden. Larry would till 'em in for me and they would help my plants grow lush.

That IS alot of leaves. I can sympathize. My neighbor has a huge tree and even though they try to keep up in the fall many leaves surround my house each year. I get some up in the fall and the remainder must be dealt with in the spring.
