Wednesday and Hump Day

I'm always glad to see Wednesday come. That means I'm halfway through the week. yesterday I scanned bar codes so today I may have to find books that were not in the system.  After I put away the DVDs Katie may have me scan bar codes again today. I only have this last aisle of non fiction.

I went to exercise class today and afterward a group of us went to Utopia for coffee and sugar free cinnamon rolls. They were o.k. but not as good as the regular cinnamon rolls they fix every other Friday. Bob and I will have our leftover meat loaf today with the leftover coleslaw. I will fix some baked potatoes and a veggie and that should do us for today. I will look over my recipes for tomorrow's dinner ideas.

Bob went up to see how Denise did last night. He will be here around 11:30 for lunch and I will get the update.

I took Missy out for an hour this morning between 6:15 and 7:30. She was really happy about that. It was nice and breezy so I didn't mind at all. I also made it to the Country Mart and bought some more yogurt. That's what I like to have for supper.

More later....

Denise is doing well. She will not be going home until she can tolerate real food though. She has been on a soft diet. They started her on real food this evening. Perhaps by Friday she can go home.

Dee and the granddaughter, Alice, came to the hospital to see Denise today. Bob learned that her older sister, Vanessa, had called and learned that she had not been to the hospital to see her mother. Vanessa told her to get herself and Alice up there to see her mother.  It's too bad she had to be told.  The young woman is badly spoiled and is very self absorbed.  She is twenty and should know better.

This afternoon at work I began putting away several basketfuls of DVDs. Katie, the director, came in and asked me to stop and clean five DVDs for a couple who were using a computer. So I walked away from my work and spent 36 minutes cleaning those DVDs only to learn that they had left without them.  So that was a waste of time. After I finally got the DVDs put away at 3:00, I asked Katie if she wanted me to scan bar codes. She did, So I began the last aisle of non fiction books.. Katie came over at 5:00 to remind me it was quitting time. I told her I wanted to stay and finish. By that time, I was almost finished. I finally finished at 5:25 and left to go home.

Bob came over for wine and ice cream at 5:45.  He left at 7:00 or soon after and I took my bath and put my PJs on and Missy and I sat in the recliner until bedtime.

Margie, you are my far away friend. I am so sorry that you
have to work so hard in your old age.

Me too, Sister-Three. Yet, as long as I keep moving, I will continue to be able to move. If I get to the place where I just sit around, I will no longer be able to move. In the long run, it's probably good that I do have to work this hard.
