Saturday and Breakfast

Keith called me and visited with me while I was out to John and Leslie's yesterday evening. He is always so good about that...in fact, both boys are. They really stay in touch. That is so neat! They live so far away. One is in Phoenix and the other in Florida.

Bob and I will go to Sirloin Stockade for breakfast this morning at 7:20. He is to come by and pick me up.

Missy and I got up shortly before 5:00. I made my bed, dressed and got ready for my day. It's always the same routine. She is lying here beside me now, waiting for me to go into the kitchen and get her treats out and fill her food bowl.  Perhaps I'd better get back to this later...


I fed Missy and watered her and then took my cup of coffee out on the carport. It's warm out here but there is a mild wind and it's cool...when you can feel it.  Finally I went in and got my frozen drink from Utopia yesterday and took a spoon and ate it. That was a lot more refreshing.  We stayed out until 7:20, when Bob came to get me for breakfast. Missy finally went in after an hour and a half outside on the carport.

She had lain in the grass and loved every minute of her outside freedom. We had our breakfast and when Bob took me home he opened his computer and checked his e-mail and his bank account. I came in here  to the den to add to this and check my bank account. I notice my social security doesn't come in until the 13th next month and my car and apartment insurance are due the 17th. The only thing I still owe is my life insurance and the premium on my supplement. Then on the 1st, my rent is due again. Hopefully, by then, there will be some more in my account. It is very inconvenient to have to wait until the second Wednesday for my social security. Nearly everything comes due before the second Wednesday. Oh well...nothing can be done about that.

Bob did not eat his barbecue last night so I will not have to worry about lunch today.

Bob came over to read the paper and watch the news and then Bob left at 7:00 and I took my bath and washed my hair and then watched the old movie "Three Days of the Condor" with Robert Redford until it was over at 9:00.

Then Missy and I went to bed
