It's 9 degrees here in southeast Kansas this morning. I slept really well again last night. I shampooed my own hair before bedtime and blew it dry after missing my hair appointment yesterday morning. It doesn't look too bad. Having a good haircut makes all the difference.
I want to go to the market after breakfast. Bob will take me out to Wal Mart. I need a list of things after being gone a week.
I think we will both stay fairly close to home today. It is so cold.
This is the view of the harbor at Waikiki looking from Scott's lanai there in Hawaii. The ropes you see there vertically are from the painters. They are in the process of painting his building.
I spent the afternoon changing out the books in my bookcases. I took all the books out of my three piece dining room bookcase and put those in my den bookcase and put those from the den in the one in the dining room. That puts all my church books in the den and all my "history of Christianity" and studies on the scriptures books in here in the dining room. Almost all my newer books the past three years are on my Kindle anyhow. I have stopped buying hard bound books.
Then I sat down and had a cup of hot chocolate. It's 4:00 now. I think I will go buy a paper.
And I did just that. Afterward, Bob came over and we visited. Then Karan came over and we visited some more. Finally everyone left and I read my paper and prepared my Minister's Message for the newspaper on the 14th.
It's 7:30 now and I guess I'll go take my bath and see if there's anything on TV. If not, I'll read.

Isn't it beautiful there? I loved all the flowers and gardens.
Back to your routine...feels good doesn't it?
Balisha
Looks nice and warm there! Glad you had a nice trip.
Yes, Balisha, it does feel good to be back to my regular routine.
It was nice and warm in Hawaii, Marlu...every day. It was in the 80s.
