Saturday and Reading Again

 I was up at 5:00AM again this morning. Made my bed and got myself ready for the day. I looked to see if there was a cat out front but there wasn't. 

I did catch "the  weather on the 8's" though. Here's the week's forecast.

Today is to be  68 degrees and sunny. Tomorrow is to be 76 degrees and sunny, Monday is to be 79 degrees and  mostly sunny, Tuesday is to be 83 degrees and mostly cloudy and windy, Wednesday is to be 48 degrees and mostly sunny, Thursday is to be 57 degrees and mostly sunny, and Friday is to be  65 degrees and sunny. Again...no rain just lots of sunshine and wind.

I am having my Chai Latte and a breakfast bar now.

I finally found Blondie and the grey cat out front looking for their breakfasts. I took a couple of bowls out for them with dry and wet cat food in them.

Later on today, I will go up to Gabbies for lunch.

I have been back to reading. It's too early to go to Gabbies. It's only 10:04AM. I don't believe they open until 10:30AM. 

 More Even Later...  

I went up to Gabbies and had her chicken salad sandwich. It was very good. Then I came back home and read all afternoon. 

I have had my bath and it's only 5:01PM but I want to watch the CBS news and it's on about 25 minutes from now.

I plan to read some more after the news until 9:00PM.

I will make my coffeecake tomorrow morning for the breakfast at church at 10:00AM.

Friday and Reading

 I slept well last night and was up at 5:45AM. I made my bed and dressed and got myself ready for the day. I will read this morning and eat at Copan at noon. I also need to go by Dollar General and buy more wet cat food. Blondie came for breakfast this morning and ate nearly all the food in his dish.

I also caught "the weather on the 8's" and here it is.

Friday (today) is to be 69 degrees and sunny, Saturday is to be 68 degrees and  sunny, Sunday is to be 75 degrees and sunny, Monday is to be 79 degrees and partly cloudy, Tuesday is to be 80 degrees and mostly cloudy and windy. Wednesday is to be 50 degrees and partly cloudy, Thursday is to be 59 degrees and partly cloudy. That's the week! Again...no rain.

I read late last evening and still went to bed fairly early...7:30PM, I think it was. I still haven't finished my book though. Leslie and John came and she installed the color cartridges for my printer. She also put a new filter in my Kerig. It's handy having her nearby. She and John had been to Bartlesville to see the doctor. John has dealt with the infection in his foot for weeks now but the doctor is happy with the progress in it's healing.

It's nearly 10:00AM now and I will go over to Dollar General and buy some more wet cat food. I am nearly out. Blondie came to eat today. I am thinking of going to Copan Restaurant for lunch. It's only 10:00AM now so it's too early for lunch. But it still sounds good.

I went over to Coffeyville to wash my car and also go to Walmart to get Chai Latte. Then when I got home, I went down to Copan for lunch. I got some mail warning about older women's health problems. I will take those to Karan. She has a heart health problem... A-Fib. She is going to have a surgery March 1st. I hope that works out well.

Thursday and Laundry

I was up at almost 5:00AM this morning and made my bed and dressed and got myself ready for the day. I checked out the front door but there were no cats out there yet. I started my laundry and I did catch "the weather on the 8's" and here it is. 

Today is to be 68 degrees and partly cloudy, Tomorrow is to be 68 degrees and sunny. Saturday is to be 69 degrees and sunny,  Sunday is to be 75 degrees and sunny, Monday is to be 79 degrees and partly cloudy, Tuesday is to be 81 degrees and mostly sunny and windy, Wednesday is to be 48 degrees and mostly sunny, That's the week...no rain...mostly sunny.

I will work on reading my first library book today. I may call Sally later and see if she wants to go to Independence for lunch. But Leslie is supposed to come today sometime and install the cartridges for my Canon printer and  put a fresh filter in my Kerig. That's more important.

I have the laundry in the washer and when it finishes washing I will put it in the dryer.

I opened the front door and Blondie was finally out there waiting for his breakfast so I fed him. He is wolfing that wet cat food down now. He has finished and left so I took his bowl back in the house. I don't want it carried off again.

It took awhile but it is dried and put away.

 

Wednesday and A Doctor's Appointment

 I slept very well last night and I slept through the night for a change. The only cat that came for their breakfast this morning was Blondie. He ate and left and I brought the food in the kitchen and covered it. I need to get some more wet cat food today sometime.

I had my usual Chai Latte and breakfast bar for breakfast.

That's the week! No rain again.

I have a busy day today. I have my hair appointment at 9:00AM, a doctor's appointment at 10:45AM  and Bunco at 1:00PM if I am through at the doctor's office by then. No matter if you have an appointment, they take you when they get to you.

I need to get some more wet cat food today. I have the dry cat food.

I went to Walmart and bought the cat food and some flavored water. I texted Leslie and asked her  to come install my color cartridges for the printer and also put a put new filter in my Kerig, She said John had a doctor's appointment tomorrow and she would do it then. That's good. It will be good to get both of those things done.

I went to the Coffeyville library and checked out two books and have been reading one of them. I am going to get my books in the   library  in Coffeyville. Even though I put my one book in the book drop at Caney, they still insist I did not. I recall going there a week ago last Friday and dropping it in but they insist I did not. That is insulting! I know I did. I drove up there to do it because it was too cold to walk up there.

No big deal. I go to Coffeyville every Wednesday and I can get books there just as easily. 

Back to my latest book I got at the Coffeyville Library today.

I also went to the doctor and everything was fine..even my blood pressure. I gave blood to have my thyroid checked.

I took my bath at 7:00PM and plan to go to bed at 9:00PM.

Tuesday and a Concert

I was up at 5:00AM this morning, made my bed and dressed and got myself ready for the day. I opened the front door and found no cats out there waiting for their breakfast  It appears to be 59 degrees outside. I did catch "the weather on the 8's". Also I fixed myself some Chai Latte and a breakfast bar for my breakfast as usual.

Here's the weather forecast for the next week.

Today is to be 69 degrees and sunny,  Tomorrow is to be 71 degrees and cloudy, Thursday is to be 66 degrees and mostly sunny, Friday is to be 65 degrees mostly sunny, Saturday is to be 68 degrees and sunny, Sunday is to be 75 degrees and partly cloudy and Monday is to be 78 degrees and partly cloudy. That's the week! No rain in the forecast! Lots of cloudy weather though.

The concert in Bartlesville this evening is "Hairspray". Sally will drive.

Monday and A New Day

I slept fairly well last night. I was up in the night for awhile reading. Then I went back to bed and back to sleep. I was up at 6:00AM. I am having my Chai Latte and a breakfast bar now. I opened the door awhile ago and that big grey cat was there for it's breakfast so I fed it and it is still eating out front.  I brought my Chai in the den. I did catch the weather on the 8's" and here is the week's weather forecast.

Today is to be 59 degrees and partly cloudy, Tuesday is to be 68  degrees and mostly sunny. Wednesday is to be 70 degrees and cloudy, Thursday is to be 64 degrees and partly cloudy,  Friday is to be 64 degrees and mostly sunny, Saturday is to be 69 degrees and sunny and Sunday is to be 73 degrees and partly cloudy. That's the week.

The little grey cat finished it's breakfast and left and I brought the remaining food in and covered it. No other cats came for their breakfasts.

I went down to Copan and had lunch.... I had called Sally to see if she wanted to go but she was at work at the WMCA in Bartlesville. I had iced tea, beef veggie soup and a piece of German Chocolate pie. It's always very good! Then I stopped by Dollar General before I came back home and bought some groceries and then came on home to read most of the afternoon.

Tomorrow evening Sally and I will go to another of our concerts... "Hairspray".  She will drive. I no longer like to drive at night. Other's bright headlights bother my eyes at night.

Yesterday's problem with the power for the computer turned out to be the ground fault relay again. I went to the garage and pushed the small center button located there next to the power box and I had power again.

Sunday and Church

 I slept pretty well last night and was up at 5:00AM.  There are no cats outside yet. 

I have my coffeecake in the oven and will take it to church for my part of the church breakfast.  

I did catch "the weather on the 8's" though. 

Today is to be 56 degrees sunny, tomorrow is to be 61 degrees and partly cloudy and Tuesday is to be 69 degrees and sunny,  Wednesday is to be 72 degrees and mostly cloudy, Thursday is to be 66 degrees and mostly sunny, Friday is to be 63 degrees and mostly sunny, Saturday is to be 65 degrees and sunny. That's the week..no rain next week. Just plenty of sunshine.

I didn't see any cats today. 

And when I turned on the oven to bake my coffeecake, I had no power to the computer.. I finally decided it was the ground fault relay again. I went in the garage and switched it on again.That can't be good for the computer. That can't be good for that ground fault relay either. 

Stephen will need to get something done with that.

Switching it back on gave me power to the computer again. 

John checked out the guttering in the back yard and said it was full of dirt and bits of shingles.  I really need some gutter guards  especially in the back.

I will need to speak to him about that too. 

I went up to Independence and bought five ink cartridges for my printer.... $70.00 Wow!

 Well that's what the Canon takes so I just bought the bullet.
