Saturday and Another Terrible Night

Last night was another of those terrible painful nights. I woke up at 1:00AM, had been lying on my right side and the arm was so sore it was throbbing. I tried turning over on my left side, but that movement  itself caused bad pain. I guess this is something I am just going to have to live with. I was awake until 3:00AM when I finally got up and took two Aleve. Then I was able to get back to sleep until 6:30AM. The trouble is Aleve can damage your kidneys or liver if taken too much. But it's the only thing that helps. Tylenol does absolutely nothing for inflammation but Aleve does help.

Oh well...

Leslie just texted me she has ordered me a brace for the shoulder and hopes that will help. It would be great if it would. Sometimes taking my left hand and pressing on the arm will help so maybe this compression thing will. I will certainly give it a try.

The apartment is clean and neat and everything but a little bit of laundry is done. I may run a small load just to take care of my winter pjs and the towels.  I got up in the middle of the night and changed from my winter pjs to my summer pjs and then was able to get back to sleep. I also changed the furnace to AC since the room was 77 degrees and was hot.

Two yellow cats and Scruffy Gray Cat came for breakfast this morning. They ate and left so I brought in the cat food. Later, I looked up and Big Yellow Tom was there wanting his breakfast so I put two of the bowls back out there. He has eaten and left now. Now the birds are coming so I need to get those bowls back in the house.

I got the plants hung back outside. I hate having them in the house when they look so pretty outside. I need to water them out there. The painted birdhouse looks good out there too now. This has been a busy week. I still have the nightstand and the den desk to go through and organize. I may get that done today if nothing else comes up..

My cousin, Pat's widower, Everett, and his daughter, Tricia, will be coming tomorrow to visit. Every year they come back to the area and decorate graves for their family. I may take flowers over to the cemetery where my mom and dad and stepdad are buried. My Bob was cremated like he wanted so I have what ashes of his that are left in my storage closet in a package. The kids and I took them over to our church's campground where he wanted them scattered and scattered them there after his celebration of life. Tomorrow it will be 10 years since he died. And Monday he would have been 90 years old if he had lived..He died the day before his 80th birthday. I still miss him so much. We were married 58 years.

More later...

I am going to water these plants and then start on those drawers.

It's 11:34AM now and I have gone through the drawers in the den and organized and labeled everything. When I am gone, it should be easier for the kids to decide what they want to keep and what they want to throw away.  I am going to stop and have lunch now.

More even later....

I had a frozen turkey dinner for my lunch and now I see Scruffy Gray car is outside wanting his/her lunch. I took it out to him/her and he is eating like he/she  has never had a meal before. Maybe he/she thinks he/she will have to fight another cat for it. I see he/she has finished now and is walking away. I will. have to watch that the birds don't come and decide to eat what is left. I went ahead and put the dish in the apartment.

I had forgotten about my laundry and just now got it into the dryer. It's only towels and underwear so no big deal!

It's 1:20PM now and I haven't heard anything from Krystal. I had texted her to ask if one of the girls could mow this afternoon but haven't heard from her so I guess not. They may be out of the area for the holiday. The rest of the week and next week we are forecast for rain.

I guess I will read awhile. I have everything else done until that dryer finishes.

More later...

I folded the clothes and put them away.

Tricia called this afternoon and wondered if I could come over to Coffeyville tomorrow afternoon and meet her and her dad for lunch. I told her I would have to call Eggbert's and see if they were going to be open on Sunday...they were 7;00AM till 7:00PM. So I called Bob to tell him about the change in plans and then called Tricia back and told her what I had learned at Eggbert's. When they leave the cemetery there in Coffeyville, she will call me. I will call Bob and immediately drive over to Coffeyville.

It's 4:11PM now and I guess I have done about all the work I can do.I have been trimming my hedge now with some small clippers and got half of it done before I played out. It's too warm out there in the sunshine to stay out too long...but that sunshine sure feels good!

Friday and Vacuuming the Den

I slept terrible last night. It was another night of a terribly sore arm. I got up at 5:00AM and dressed and got ready for the day. I had my oatmeal and coffee and chai. Three cats came for breakfast so I took out three bowls. There were two yellow cats and scruffy gray cat. When they were nearly finished, the rain and wind started up Then we had some small hail. It got very dark. When this happened the three cats took off.

I have had internet trouble again this morning. Finally I went and pushed the button on the router. That finally connected me. I may have to have Cox bring me a new router. This one seems to have developed  problems.

I will see if pushing the button on the router will fix it for good.

I was watching the cats eat when suddenly they took off. The wind suddenly came up and  it began to rain...then hail..small hail and just for a bit.

I am still having trouble with the router. The laptop can find it..but it's hooked up via a USB connection and after I pushed the button on the router so could the desktop. But the notebook can't find it. I pushed the button again and nothing has happened. I may have to have Cox come out and switch it out..

I got hold of a tech from Cox Complete Care  that knew what she was doing and she told me to just pull the plug on the router when that happens and then plug it back in again in a minute and that will reset it. I hope that works and this doesn't happen continually. It's a mess.

I went to  Independence for groceries this morning. Then I stopped at Big Cheese and got a personal pan pizza to bring home for lunch. It wasn't too warm when I got it home but I ate it anyhow. I could have warmed it up in the microwave but I was too hungry.

After I have lunch and check the mail, I will vacuum the den, put the plants out and water them too. So far, I have internet. I wonder how long that will last?

More later...

I had an ice cream bar from Schwan's for my dessert. Those are so good! But they are 250 calories. I will have to be careful not to abuse that stuff.

More later...I'd better vacuum. My next big project is to clean out and organize the two drawers of the night stand here in the den.

I got the vacuuming finished and  the plants watered outside. Suzanne gave me the Examiner Enterprise newspapers her sister, Judy, saves for her  I read most of them and put a rubber bank around the ones I have read. I think I still have two to read. When I get them read I will give them to Karan to take to the animal shelter. That's a good thing to use them for instead of just throwing them away.

The sun has been shining all afternoon after that huge rain we had this morning. It's 2:00PM now. I may watch some Amazon Prime TV.

More later....

I called Nancy this afternoon and asked her if she was ready to have company. She was. We sat eight feet apart and visited for two hours.

I came home at 5:30PM and signed on to the notebook. It was unable to sign into the router. So I rebooted a couple of times and finally got a  signal. That router is going to be a problem... I have a feeling.

Well, it is working right now. So I will watch TV until 7:00PM when I will take my bath. So far, no cats have come to eat so I will wait awhile. Maybe they will come soon.

More later...

I took my bath and I hope my arm will not be hurting again tonight. I will stay up until 9:00PM

Thursday and Vacuuming Again

I slept better last night then I have in weeks. The arm did not hurt...for some reason.  I'm not complaining...I am just surprised.

I awoke at 4:30AM and could not get back to sleep so I just got up. I have dressed and got myself ready for the day. I have had my oatmeal, coffee and Chai Latte. I have even washed my dishes and set them on the draining mat to dry. I have been working on my desktop computer so far this morning.  I have checked the e-mail, checked the checking account and finished yesterday's blog. I haven't checked to see if any cats are waiting for their breakfast but that's my next move.

I want to spray the birdhouse I worked on painting yesterday with a clear coat in hopes the paint will not wash off in rains. I will do that later after it gets light and after I vacuum. It's just now 6:00AM.  I will go watch the weather and the news now.

I will continue this on the notebook and in the recliner in the living room.  I will vacuum the dining room after the CBS news is over at 10:00AM. It's only 6:00AM now.

So more later...

Sure enough, I had Big Yellow Tom, medium sized yellow cat and Scruffy gray cat all three waiting for breakfast. I will need to get some more cat food today. Last evening most of the cats may not have come to eat before I went on to bed.  Or someone else may be feeding them. I did see one of them running with something big, either a bird or a mouse, in their mouth coming across the street a few days ago. I couldn't tell what it was but I hope it was a starling if it was a bird. They are such nasty greasy birds. It appeared to be gray so it may have been.

All three have eaten and gone now.

When the birds see that and begin to try to eat the cat food, I will bring it back in.

So more later...

About 8:30AM, the smallest yellow cat came to eat. I set the food out and he/she ate all she/he wanted and I will bring the bowl back in shortly.

I am waiting until the CBS news is over at 10:00 before I vacuum and dust the dining room. That's a little over an hour.

More even later...

I got the dining room thoroughly cleaned and rearranged somewhat. It's 1:45 PM now and I have been  thinking about going to Independence and picking up some more groceries  since I ate the last of my frozen dinners today. But it's thundering now and I just cleaned up my car so I think I will just let that go for now. I just brought the plants in and I don't want the wind to come up and ruin them. I just watered them with the faucet water...which is not too good since our faucet water is undrinkable. Most everyone here drinks bottled or filtered water. I do both.

I didn't get any mail today...which is odd since I usually at least get some junk mail.

It's a good thing I decided not to go to Independence since it just started to rain here. I thought I heard thunder earlier.

I lost the internet for awhile off and on during the rain storm. Cox denied it was them but after an hour of off and on, it finally cleared up.  So I still think it was them. I had problems with their modem a couple of weeks ago and they finally rebooted it and after about twenty minutes, that fixed it.

Suzanne and Scout brought me some grapes and bananas from the food pantry. Also a couple of kiwi. I have never eaten kiwi but Scout said I would like it. Suzanne also brought me some banana nut bread. I am dying to try it in the morning.  I washed the new grapes and put them in Tupperware Suzanne had already washed the ones she brought me from home.  I will have grapes for awhile that is for sure. I have plenty of bananas too. But I put them in plastic bags with a paper towel and tie them with a plastic tie and put them in the frig and they last me a week.....sometimes longer.

The channel 6 news is on now. Next I will watch the CBS news at 5:30PM

I see there had been a shooting at the Corpus Christi navel station yesterday. The one man that was shot appears to be expected to recover.

More later...

I have been having computer problems all afternoon . I was working on my blog and suddenly lost the signal.  I went to the laptop and I had a signal there but nothing on the notebook and nothing on the desktop. I contacted Cox and they insisted they had a strong signal. Then I checked the laptop again and I had lost the signal on that too. I talked to two different women and both insisted it couldn't be Cox's fault. I think I have picked up some malware somewhere. I will watch the 5:30PM news and see if anything happens to the signal after that.

It's 7:20PM and so far.. so good...If this happens tomorrow, I will get a hold of Cox again and get their Complete Care people to go through all three computers and check them out.  At e-bay, I could have picked up some malware.

Now I will take my bath and get my pjs on and get ready for bed and then watch some TV. I plan to go to bed at 9:00PM

Wednesday and a Trip to Coffeyville

I slept a little better last night although I woke up several times with my arm aching.  Finally I just got up at 5:00AM. I got myself ready for the day and had my coffee and Chai Latte,

After I dressed and got around for my trip to Coffeyville, I opened the front door to find Scruffy gray cat and one of the yellow cats waiting for their breakfast.  They ate all they could and left.

I have quite a bit to do while I am at Coffeyville. I will go to the bank first and get some money and then pick up Bob for breakfast at Eggberts. After I take him home, I have an 8:45AM hair appointment...and boy, do I need that!!!It has been six weeks since I have had a haircut. I have trimmed on the sides over my ears myself but it is generally all out of shape.

I don't believe I need gas since I really haven't been anywhere except to Sonic for a lunch and to Dollar General. But before I come back home, I will need to go to Walmart. I have quite a list of things I can't get at Dollar General. I also want to get mulch for my flowerbed and paint so I can paint the birdhouse. I sanded it yesterday. I may be able to get everything at Walmart. If not, I can get those things at Orchelon's.

Next week will be a nightmare. Every day but one we will have rain. I am ready for some more sunshine. I have no idea which day I will have the yard mowed. I will just have to play it by ear.

It is about time to get ready to leave for Coffeyville. I had better get ready to leave and load the groceries into my car. I want to give those to Bob and Joanne.  They will be able to use them. I took what I could use.

I need to get the plants in or I guess I can leave them out unless we have wind. I don't think it will rain today.

More later in the day.....

Bob and I then went to breakfast at Eggberts. After that, I went out to Woodland and Cline and washed my car.. Now it's clean inside and out. I had cleaned the inside thoroughly yesterday and even cleaned the upholstery and carpet and now I will put it in the garage so it will stay that way during these rain storms we have forecast here all next week.

After I took Bob home, I went to my hair appointment. We are required to wear face masks in the beauty shop. Even the men getting their hair cut have to wear one..I found out from Bob that Janet at the senior center made each of the board members face masks. That's good! He's covered. His haircut is next week.

After getting my hair done I went out to Walmart and bought $38.00 worth of groceries and a bag of mulch for my flower bed.. Then I dropped by the Medicine Shoppe and got my prescription.. Then I came on home. I have my dinner in the microwave so I will get back to this later.

More later...

For a microwavable meal, that was pretty good. It was beans and rice...pretty tasty.

I looked out the front and Scruffy was out there wanting food.  So I took a bowl out to him/her and he/she ate it all. I brought the bowl back in.

I started painting the birdhouse I had sanded yesterday l bought some craft paint and brushes and got three sides of it finished and let it dry for one hour and gave that a second coat. When that dries, I will turn it over and paint the other side and the roof. I have painted the birdhouse lavender and will paint the roof purple. I will let the other side and the roof dry an hour and then put a second coat on that. When the entire birdhouse is dry, I will spray it with semi gloss clear in hopes that will protect it. I also want to repaint the words Ginger's mom wrote on it before I do that though. It's after 1:00PM now. I will do that painting after 2:00PM.

It's been a big day already and I still have that flowerbed to mulch. I bought a big bag of red Scott's mulch. I can't lift that bag so I will cut it open and then scoop it into a bucket I have and dip it out of the bucket scoop by scoop. Then I will refill the bucket until I have the flowerbed mulched. That mulch will help keep the ground moist.

More later....About 2:00PM, I will finish that painting. Right now, I will begin with the mulching.

Here's the larger flowerbed. It took 8 buckets of mulch to do.

Image may contain: plant, flower and outdoor
The red mulch really shows it up. This one is under the den window.

Here's the small one...

Image may contain: flower, plant and outdoor
It only took two buckets of mulch. It is the front by the front door. When I finish painting the birdhouse, I will post a picture of it. It's been an hour and a half since I put the second coat on the birdhouse. It only takes an hour to dry.

So, more later...
 Image may contain: indoor
My latest project. The birdhouse had developed mold so yesterday I sanded it and today I painted
it.  I need to print over the words that are on it to make them show up. Also when the job is completely finished I will spray it with a sealer.  Ginger's mother built this for me in 2015 Somewhere on it is a lot of information. .When I am finished, it will show up again.

I took my bath at 7:00PM and watched some "Forensic Files"  on Amazon Prime  and went on to bed at 9:00PM. I was very tired. It had been a big day.

Tuesday and a Yard Mowing

Another terrible night's sleep. No matter what I did, or how I lay, my arm throbbed most of the night. Finally, about 5:00AM, I just gave up and got up. I did take a couple of Aleve later this morning. No sense suffering with that arm all day too.

I have made my bed, got myself ready for the day and had my oatmeal and coffee. Then I turned on the weather channel on TV. I watch that every morning.

When I opened the front door, three cats were waiting for me to feed them. There were two yellow cats, one medium sized one and one small one, and one scruffy gray cat there. I took out all three bowls, including the double dish and they ate their fill and left.  I haven't seen mama cat in a week or so. I keep wondering if she has had a litter somewhere around here.

The young Vanatta girl will come mow this afternoon at 2:00PM. I will need to get change for that ten during lunch. I will probably just go out to Sonic again and get their child's Wacky Pack chicken strip dinner since that only costs $2.18 with tax.

I plan to vacuum the living room today too. I may get that done this morning before lunch after the CBS news goes off.

Now I will fix my chai latte and eat a breakfast bar.

More later....

I had the breakfast bar and a cup of chai latte. I am still watching the CBS  news.

So far, I have fed another yellow cat. Then I took the bowl back in the apartment.

More later again.

Another yellow cat, the medium sized one, has come back for brunch. I just put one bowl out.  He/she seems skittish and there may be another cat out there vying for the food. I don't see one yet and if that yellow one doesn't come back to eat, I will take that bowl back in.

It's almost 9:00AM now and I am still watching the CBS news.

When it is over at 10:00AM, I will turn off the TV and vacuum the living room.

More even later...

I set the large variegated plant outside on the glass topped table on the patio area in the sunshine and also watered the bedding plants. Tomorrow when I go to Coffeyville I will get some mulch  for the flowerbed.

But before I watered that large plant, I cut off some of the long hanging branches that were weighing the plant down, Then I watered it. It looks a lot better without those straggling branches.

I had hung the pink geranium out front earlier. It can use some cleaning up too. I will pluck off the dead pieces and then water it too.

It too looks a lot better now. If they aren't pruned from time to time they get to looking pretty scraggly.

Another 35 minutes of the news and then I will vacuum the living room.

Krystal and her daughter that mows for me came about 2:30PM and the 14 year old mowed the yard. She does a nice job.

I had spent an hour or so cleaning the carpet in my car. The car had had a dirty place on the armrest on the driver's side ever since I got it. I found my car carpet cleaning stuff and gave it a good cleaning. It looks much better now.  The car needs washing and I may do that when I get to Coffeyville tomorrow. It will be in the garage after tomorrow because it's supposed to rain every day but two in the next week.

I don't know when I can have Krystal's daughter mow next week. I will just have to play it by ear.  It's 4:15PM and the channel 6 news will be back on so I will get back to this later.

After Krystal  and her girls left, I vacuumed the living room. The carpet looks a lot better now. Later I put some Old English polish on a rag and dusted the bedroom.  I may dust the living room that way tomorrow afternoon.

It's 4:20PM now and I am waiting for the 5:30PM CBS news. Tulsa doesn't seem to know they are our primary TV news  source. They only talk about Tulsa.  Even giving the weather they seldom mention our area.

Suzanne's grandson just brought me groceries from the food pantry. There are white potatoes, tomatoes, a plum, raw broccoli and bananas. I will take all this to Sycamore Landing when I go to pick up Bob in the morning. He and Joanne can split the bananas. I still have some from last week and I eat one every evening.

I took my bath at 7:00PM after I finished my evening banana..

Bob called me to see if I still had the book "Footprints in the Dew"... a sequel about the "Mullendore Murder Case".  Scott went to first grade with the Mullendore son at Wayside Elementary in Bartlesville when we lived there  and he had asked me to send him the book. I had given him the original book "The Mullendore Murder Case". And when he heard about the sequel, he asked me to send that to him too.  Bob Avery had read the book after I read it so I didn't think either of us would read it again so I sent it to him. But I checked all my bookcases just in case I remembered wrong... but I hadn't..

More later....

When I checked the front door, Scruffy gray cat was there wanting his/her supper so I took him/her out a bowl. When he/she was finished, I brought the bowl back in.

Then I went into the den and read the news on the computer and also played a game on the laptop in there.  But then I was tired of that and decided to read. I had bought another book for my Kindle from Amazon.

At 9:00PM, I will go on to bed.

Monday and Laundry Again

I stripped my bed this morning and changed my sheets. I do that every other Monday.

I have had my oatmeal and coffee and am working on my chai latte now.

I need to put those sheets in the dryer right now. Back soon.

o.k. The sheets are in the dryer and I put both plants back out in the sunshine.

I had three cats come for breakfast this morning...small yellow cat, medium yellow cat and scruffy gray cat. I had just put away the cat food and put the clothes in the dryer and looked up to see Big Yellow Tom waiting for his breakfast. So..I put the two green bowls out there ...just in case.  It's been awhile since mama cat has been here. I thought she might be pregnant again so maybe she's had another litter somewhere. Who knows.

I may see if one of Krystal's girls can mow for me on Wednesday afternoon. Wednesday will be busy. Bob may go to breakfast at Eggberts for breakfast with me again, I will go to the bank, and I have a 9:00AM appointment to get my hair cut...unless she has to cancel again. Then I will go out to Walmart to get my groceries and some red mulch and then would need to be home that afternoon if one of the girls will mow about 2:00PM.

After I texted Bob today he told me they are resuming exercise classes at the senior center today.  They are keeping the break room closed though. They will probably keep 6 foot of space between each exercising person though...just to be sure. I am so afraid all this additional activity around the nation will start another round of  the pandemic. So many people are out without face masks and being very close together.  I have begun wearing the face masks Krystal gave me last week when I go out,

I see Big Yellow Tom is gone now so I had better put that cat food away or the birds will be back eating it.

I folded and put away the dry sheets and texted Krystal about the mowing. They will come at 2:00PM on Wednesday to mow for me. It could use it today but I would have to go to the bank in Coffeyville to get more money if they came today. Wednesday I will be in Coffeyville and will go to the bank and get the money then.

I have mopped all the bare floors and swept out the garage and little porch area. I even washed the trash receptacle out front. It looked filthy.

In a little while I will vacuum the bedroom and dust it. I think I will begin vacuuming and dusting one room at a time instead of trying to do the whole apartment at one time. My arm just can't take that much strain. I did the kitchen and bathroom floors this morning and will vacuum the bedroom today and the living room and hall on Tuesday and then do the dining room on Thursday and the den on Friday. That should be less strain on the arm. I do laundry on Saturday and every other Monday. That's what my neighbor in Bartlesville did when she had a part time job and that worked out fine. Their place always looked nice.

There doesn't appear to be any wind today so the flowers are holding up nicely out there. I am keeping my eye on them though.  At least the sun is shining.

I am not sure what I will have for lunch. I will have to look in the freezer later. I had better get that vacuuming done before I lose interest.

More later...

I sent out a letter to the congregation of our church today and included the Daily Bread devotional. I hope keeping in touch this way will help keep everyone interested in meeting one another at church again when this pandemic is over. I put the six letters for those who are not online in the mailbox with the flag up. I personalize those too.

More later...I had better find something for lunch now It's almost 12:00 noon and I am hungry.

I had a frozen turkey dinner for lunch. Then I noticed the mailman had already been here so I ran those six letters up to the post office before  I forgot.  When I got back home, I vacuumed the bedroom and halls. Tomorrow I will do the living room. Then Thursday I will do the dining room and the den on Friday. That sure makes it easier then trying to do it all in one day. I am tired. It must have been the letters and the vacuuming  that did it. Way too much sitting around in this apartment this winter.

I saw the mailman go by at 1:30PM.

I just ordered some more of those refrigerator drawer liners that preserve your food. They work beautifully. I use both the plastic bags with the paper towel folded in them and tied with a twisty and the foam drawer liners and get at least a week for my fruit..bananas and such. I had a $7.30 credit there so they will cost me very little. They are only $11.99 anyhow and you get six. They are thin green foam pads. And they really work!

More later....About 4:00PM, the smaller yellow cat came for an early supper.

About 5:00PM, I texted Krystal and asked her if the daughter would be willing to come tomorrow to mow. It may rain on Wednesday evening and maybe earlier. She agreed so I went out to Dollar General and got some cash. I will need the cash I got to pay the daughter. I will still need to change that ten into two fives. Besides the ten, I have a twenty. Tomorrow noon I will go to get the Wacky Pack at Sonic. That costs $2.18 and that will break that ten.

At 5:45PM, scruffy gray cat came for his/her dinner and I set out all three bowls. Another cat may come while he/she is eating. I didn't want a fight.

I called Nancy this afternoon and we visited awhile. Her friend Sylvia Estes is dying of stomach cancer and she has been visiting her. It must be bad. Nancy says she doesn't have long to live. They have been friends since high school.

So sad....

More later...

I took my bath at 7:00PM and watched "Highway Thru Hell"  on the weather channel. Then at 9:00PM, I went on to bed.

Sunday and Online Church

I slept a little better last night. I woke up two or three times but each time I got back to sleep. I finally got up about 5:30AM, made my bed and took my shower and washed my hair. Then I dressed and came in the kitchen for breakfast. I have had my oatmeal and half my coffee. I started my laundry and it is rinsing right now.

When I opened the front door I saw that I had two yellow cats waiting for their breakfast. I took their food out and they ate and left. Now I will need to bring that food in or the birds will begin to eat it. I often end up with four. Surely more cats will come. It isn't raining this morning.

I put my plants back outside. Thank goodness it isn't raining today. I have kept the large plant in the den by the window. The hanging geranium I put on the hook in the front. I have kept in on the table in the dining room during all this rain and watered them both twice a day.

I got the laundry in the dryer too.

At 11:00AM I will log onto centreplace.ca and watch the church service from Toronto Canada. I may watch the one from Springfield, Missouri this evening at 7:00PM....or I may watch the CBS movie at 7:00PM.  It's an old movie.... "Mission Impossible" with Tom Cruise. For sure I will watch 60 Minutes at 6:00PM.

The weather channel says no rain today or any more until Thursday. I will try to have the yard mowed on Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon. I will contact Krystal tomorrow and see if one of the girls can mow.  I wish I could do it myself but I just can't do it anymore. Too much sitting around all winter, I guess.

I texted Bob this morning and he was up but just now having his coffee.  I like to text him every morning after I get up...just to make sure he is alright.  Joanne, his girlfriend sleeps late.

More later....

I watched the news most of the morning and then at 11:00AM  I logged onto the church service I wanted to watch. It was, as usual, very good.

Afterward, Leslie called me and we went over the use of Zoom again. I had installed my new little camera and mic yesterday and we wanted to test them. It is pretty small and not too clear.

I put my plants back in the house. The wind is going to tear them up or at least dry them out. I brought them in and watered them.

A medium sized yellow cat is out here to eat. It isn't Big Yellow Tom. There are three yellow cats altogether. There is Big Tom and a medium sized one and a smaller one. But this time there was just one cat. I took just one dish out there. It was the double dish.

I am going to try to watch the service from Springfield tonight. But I may just watch the movie instead. Time will tell.

Suzanne and Steve came this afternoon on their way to watch their  grandson graduate. I believe they are all going to "shoot the U" for graduation.

I took Steve's stud finder out to the garage and found the studs I could screw my hanging hooks into.

I wanted to hang the trimmer but it was too heavy for my hooks. I will try to find larger ones if I want to hang the trimmer.

The news is about to come on and after that 60 Minutes will be on.

I took a shower this morning and washed my hair so I will not take a bath tonight. I will just wash my face before I put my pajamas on about 7:00PM.
