Sayurday and Four Cats to Feed

Today Jackson is supposed to come mow my yard. I hope he comes early and gets it done/ I want to get him paid.

I was up early as usual  I made my bed, dressed and got myself ready for the day. Four cats were waiting for me to set out their food. I had to take it out through the garage. They wouldn't ;move away from the door. Anyhow  they are all eating now.

I also caught "the weather on the 8's". 

Today is supposed to be 93 degrees and partly cloudy.Tomorrow is to be 93 degrees and also partly cloudy. Monday is to be 92 degrees and sunny. Tuesday is to be 89 degrees and AM clouds and PM sun,  Wednesday is to be 88 degrees and partly cloudy,  Thursday is to be 87 degrees and showers, and Friday is to be 90 degrees and partly cloudy. That's the week! One day of showers! Otherwise, hot weather!

I went up to Gabby's for lunch and left a note for the kid Leslie got to mow for me. He never showed up. I was gone thirty minutes and when I got back home where I had been all day, he had not come.

I could have mowed it myself early this morning but Leslie said if I did that, she would take the mower away from me. I have a contract that says it has to be mowed weekly.  It will be two weeks on Tuesday since it's been mowed. It's over 6 inches tall. I need someone I can count on weekly. Krystal Vanatta's daughters did it the past two years and were always dependable. She says they are unavailable now. I will send Krystal a text and offer the girls $30.00 a week. They never missed a week in two years.

Friday and Poor Sleep

I slept poorly last night. I woke up several times in the night and had a hard time getting back to sleep. It's 5:10AM now and I am just getting ready to have my breakfast....such as it is...a breakfast bar and some Chai Latte. I may go to Eggbert's later this morning and have a more substantial breakfast. I still have plenty of money on that gift card Keith gave me when he and Esther were here last month. I have only used it twice.

I haven't checked on the cats yet this morning or even "the weather on the 8's".

All four cats came for their breakfast. They ate and left.

I now have "the weather on the 8's" . Today is to be 95 degrees and partly cloudy, tomorrow is to be 94 degrees and partly cloudy too.Sunday is to be 93 degrees and partly cloudy, Monday is to be 93 degrees and sunny, Tuesday is to be 90 degrees and Wednesday is to be 90 degrees and AM thunderstorms,  and Thursday is to be 91 degrees and AM showers. That's the week! At least we have a couple of days of showers and thunderstorms. We do need rain but the man who is going to mow for me will do it on Saturday when it is to be partly cloudy. The rain doesn't come until Wednesday and Thursday next week.

I drove down to Bartlesville and found a dermatologist there and got an appointment for next Tuesday at 2:30PM with a Doctor Metus a PA.C. at the Northern Oklahoma Dermatologist office. I will have him look over my face where that rough place is that the dentists here in Caney thought might be cancer.  The doctor is located at 309 SE Frank Phillips Blvd. There are four of them in that practice.

I filled out the paperwork the receptionist gave me this afternoon.

After I got back to Caney, I read the rest of the afternoon.

This evening the cats began coming to the front door again.  I gave them a supper.

The kid that is going to mow my yard should be here tomorrow. I hope he gets it finished in good time. I would like to go have lunch at Gabby's tomorrow but I want to be here when he finishes mowing too. I want to to get him paid.

Thursday and More Hot Weather

I was up very early this morning..I just couldn't stay asleep. 

I watched the "weather on the 8's" and it doesn't look all that good. For instance, today is to be 93 degrees and sunny . Tomorrow is to be 92 degrees and mostly sunny, Saturday is to be 94 degrees and mostly sunny, Sunday is to be 94 degrees and partly cloudy, Monday is to be 93 degrees and sunny, Tuesday is to be 92 degrees and mostly sunny, and Wednesday is to be 92 degrees and mostly sunny...lots of hot weather and no rain.

I opened the front door to find Grey waiting for his breakfast. I fixed it and took it out to him and he is eating now. I had better check to see if any more cats are out there...so more later...

Sure enough, Whitey was out there waiting for his breakfast. Grey was gone and  had left some food in his dish so Whitey began on it. I added another full wet bowl for Whitey.

Wednesday and a Hair Appointment

 I will leave at 8:00AM for Coffeyville and my hair appointment. .It really needs it!

I think that's all there is today. over there.I will call Janet later and check to be sure.

I had all four cats come for their breakfast this morning. There was Blondie, Grey, Whitey and the little one, Blackey. They all ate their fill and have left now. I brought in their empty dishes.

Today is to be 88 degrees and sunny, tomorrow is to be 93 and sunny, Friday is to be 94 degrees and mostly sunny, Saturday is to be 94 degrees and partly cloudy,  Sunday is to be 94 degrees and partly cloudy, Monday is to be 94 degrees and mostly sunny, and Tuesday is to be 92 degrees and isolated thunderstorms.. That's the week! Not much chance of rain. 

The new mowing person, Jackson, is supposed to mow on Saturday. It is very high now...about 6 inches. I see Stephen has mowed and his looks nice. Mine looks like a mess. I was going to mow at least the front yard myself but Leslie said they would take back my mower if I did that They are afraid I will overdo it and be sick. Keith had told them I was sweating heavily when I mowed while he and Esther went to Keith's reunion. Kids!

More Later...

I was working on my blog and suddenly both computers went down. I tried to get them both back up but it was futile. In about five minutes I was able to get them both going again. I don't think the TV went down but it may have just come back up after being down. I was busy trying to get both computers back up and didn't check. When I finally did, the TV was on. I don't know whether it went down and then came right back up. That may have been the case.

I am going to start for Coffeyville now and my hair appointment now. I see by looking at the bank site that my social security came in. That's good!

After I got my hair done, I went up to Independence and ate at the Dairy Queen. I was in the mood for that $7.00 special deal.

I got my Computer  Digest a little while ago and was reading it in the bedroom when the phone (which was in the dining room began to ring. I ran in to pick it up but whoever it was gone. I looked at recent numbers and saw Dean's so I called him. It wasn't him at all. We chatted a bit but that was all. I have no idea how I got his number to come up since he didn't call me and I didn't call him. Well it was nice talking to him anyhow.  He had taken a fall and had been in the hospital. His son was fine. But I think he said he himself had broken a bone. I was so surprised and embarrassed to find the caller wasn't him anyhow that I didn't get the details of his broken bone.

Anyhow more Even Later... 

It's a little after 7:00PM now and I have taken my bath. I can't seem to get the cool air to spread. I set the thermostat on  67 several hours ago but it still reads 78 degrees in this apartment and the thermostat  still says 67 degrees but it's still 78 degrees in the apartment..I have turned on the ceiling fans in both the living room and the bedroom. I hope that will spread out the cooler air. I went out and checked the air conditioner and it was running and putting out hot air.

Tuesday and Possible Mowing

 Leslie has told me that the man who will be mowing for me now may be mowing today. It was a week ago that he first mowed for me. I have her check to pay for his mowing. I hope I don't miss him. I am planning on eating at Eggbert's here in Caney at noon. Keith left me money as a gift card to pay for my lunches for awhile. I slept well for awhile but was up earlier then usual.The furnace is not heating well for some reason.. I was cold much of the night even with extra covers.

I haven't seen any cats yet this morning. I have checked twice.

That's the week.

Now I will check on the cats again.

Sure enough! Blackie was out there and also Blondie . I fed them both and then Whitey came and I fed him too.

I was going to mow the front yard but Leslie threatened to come get the mower so I decided to clean the apartment instead. It is cleaned now.and the sweeper is charging. I also swept out the garage and put away the box the cats sometime slept in when it was cold out.

I will go to Eggbert's for lunch. Keith gave me a nice Eggbert's gift card when he and Esther were here. I have used it once. This will be the second time.... since I was at camp last week.

More Even Later...

I went to visit my niece, Denise, today. She has breast cancer but is handling it as well as possible under the circumstances. She has some symptoms but is handling the symptoms as well as possible. There are several people in the trailer park where she lives who have had cancer and they are a good support group.  I had a very good visit with her. We sat in my car with the windows down. That's what she wanted. She is a couple of years younger then my daughter, Leslie.

When I got home, little Blackie was at the front door wanting some more food. So I fed him again.

MONDAY AND LUNCH AT COPAN

I was up early as usual and read most of the morning. At lunchtime I went to Copan for lunch and had my usual beef vegetable soup and a piece of German Chocolate pie. As usual, It was all very good!

I had fed four cats earlier. They were Blondie, Grey and Whitey and Blackie.

Sunday and Coffeecake for Church

I was up fairly early this morning. I knew I would have the coffeecake to make for church. I have it finished now and iced somewhat. .I now have time to blog. Grey,. the feral cat... one of four that I feed...has come and eaten his breakfast and left. Whitey came too and I fed him.The other two, Blackey and Blondie have not come yet..

Today is to be 76 degrees and cloudy, tomorrow is to be 84 degrees and sunny, Tuesday is to be 86 degrees and partly cloudy, Wednesday is to be 88 degrees and mostly sunny, Thursday is to be 92 degrees and sunny. Friday is to be 94 degrees and mostly sunny, Saturday is to be 94 degrees and partly cloudy. No rain in this week's forecast and we could use some. I have my hair appointment on Wednesday and I really need it!
