We went to Wal Mart in Independence this afternoon following Bob's nap and bought some groceries and afterward we went out to John and Leslie's home site to see what the builders had accomplished in the past week. They had the second floor up but since it rained this morning they didn't work on it. I did take some new pictures though.
In this picture, you can see the great room with it's high ceiling. And if you look carefully, you can see the staircase in back of that room.
That is the back of the house and faces east. The dining area from the kitchen will be there on the left where the large window is located. Above that is a bedroom
upstairs.
To the right here is the front of the house. The large window is their bedroom. Then you can see the front door and the dining room window. To the right is the back wall to the garage. In this picture you can also see the upstairs front bedrooms. It's coming along albeit slowly.

The house seems to be coming right along. I know it is really going to be nice and they will be so excited to move into a brand new home. Have a good weekend.
You too, Judy. Yes, they are very excited. I bought a blank scrapbook from my consultant and will decorate and put my pictures in it for a record of the progress.
Then I will give it to them for Christmas.
You guys sure know how to put the "labor" in Labor Day!
