This is the day I usually clean the apartment. There's nothing else going on Thursday.
I slept poorly. My thumb and my arm both hurt most of the night. I don't know what I will do about them. I took two Aleve and that should have handled the pain but it didn't.
I will try to get my housework done today....pain or no pain.
Yesterday evening, I cleaned and refilled the hummingbird feeders. They immediately swamped them and drank deeply.
I just read the County Chronicle. Two of the City Commissioners had a huge shouting match Tuesday evening. They should be ashamed of themselves. One was the newly elected mayor and the other was Jim Taylor, Jr., son of Jim Taylor Sr. Jim Taylor Jr. is much like his father....immature and a showman. Jim Taylor Sr. had his stint on the commission and when he couldn't get his way on every question, he resigned. They all act like immature school boys instead of dignified city commissioners. I was appalled as I read about their behavior.
More later, I guess..
Missy and I have been out on the carport for an house and a half now. It's nearly 8:00 now. I am about to go back in and begin my cleaning. She has been out long enough. Spoiled rotten cat! I have had to go get her twice when she has sneaked away while I was on the laptop computer. She is sneaky all right!
I finally got away and went back in the house with her. I wanted to clean the apartment and she had and hour and a half outside. I fixed lunch and we ate. It was good. It was a warm up of the casserole that Karan made for Monday. We will eat out tomorrow.
I read all afternoon and went to Sonic and got a Mini Sonic Blast. Ice cream sounded good. It was 92 degrees. Then I had a cookie too.
Bob came by at 5:00 to watch the news. He had a party at Sycamore Landing at 6:30 so he left at 6:00 this evening.
I will take my bath now and be ready to sit in the recliner with Missy and watch TV this evening. It may rain this evening. It was sprinkling when Bob left.

Hope your arms felt better as the day went on. Sounds like you are having another spell of hot weather, as we are here. I remember a few years ago when a Sonic opened up around here...my youngest son was so excited! : )
I love the mini sonic blast! It's just enough!
