I slept somewhat better but not great last night. I woke up shortly after 1:00 and it was off and on until 4:00 AM when I gave up and just got up.
Missy had peed on the clean bathmat again. Luckily, I had washed and dried the other one. I put the peed on bathmat in the washer. I will be washing my sheets tomorrow. Hopefully she won't pee on the clean one before I can wash the other one. I don't know what I can do to get her to stop that. It's probably her age. She is 14 and will be 15 in March.
Missy wants to go outside but it's only 5:20 now. We will wait until it gets light.
I watched again the response of our president to the chaos in Puerto Rica. The (unmentionable) man does not have one bone of empathy in his body. He "complimented" those poor people on only losing 16 people in the hurricane. He also went on and on about the great job FEMA had done, saying nothing about all the work the people had done. 50% of the island still has no water or food. He didn't even see them. What a dunce.
I wonder what he will say at Vegas today. Will he praise them for only losing 58?
More later...
I didn't attend exercise class today after all. I had a malware infection in my desktop computer and I had Cox Support work on it. I stayed home to be able to answer any questions he might have and it's good that I did. He needed my Microsoft password.
I fixed hamburgers and french fries for lunch and had cupcakes for dessert.
Then I went to game day at the senior center. I won $5.00 for having the most losses. :)
Now I am reading the newspaper.
My eldest son is in Cairo, Egypt. He and a co-worker took a walk this evening.
It's pretty but it could be dangerous for an American.
More later...
Bob came over about 5:00 to watch the news and read the newspapers. He left a 6:30 and I took my bath and watched "Nature" on PBS with Missy. Then about 8:30, I got ready to go to bed. First I will read for awhile to get sleepy.
Missy and I want to go to bed about 9:00

One of these days I'm going to put my little "home use" blood pressure monitor on while I watch President Trump making an appearance and speaking, the past few days it seems to feel like I can feel my blood pressure rising as he speaks. I wonder if it really is.
It would probably be a good thing to just quit watching the news, but I watch to keep track of anything going on where my son is stationed overseas. Just today things have started heating up in that country. Three American servicemen were killed in that country today.
I saw that on the news, Susie. I pray your son is safe. Both my sons had multiple deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan before their retirement in 2015.
I too watch the news daily. I have friends who say they never watch the news because it "upsets" them. There's a problem with that because ignorance is what got us this present president who is only a showman and a egoist.
