Wednesday and Exercises and Red Cross

I slept very well last night. I only woke up once at 1:30 and went to the bathroom and took my med and a melatonin tablet. Then I didn't get up until after 5:00 AM.

Missy slept well too. And furthermore, she made it through the night without peeing on the mat under her litter box.

I have myself ready for the day and fed myself and Missy. She wants to go outside and in a bit, I will take her out. Last evening I took the blower and blew off all the terrible mess on the parking lot. Later we went out on the patio and she was very good about staying nearby and lying on the patio. So we may try that again late. I will go to exercise class this morning and later, at 3:00, I will go be an escort for the Red Cross Bloodmobile at the First Baptist Church at  3:00 until 6:00. I will miss Bunco this afternoon at Asbury Village. ..not a problem.

More later...

I just went out and watered my flowers. I also took the boxes I was keeping in the bedroom closet over to the trash barrels. I really don't have room for those boxes even though they were nice Amazon and Keurig boxes. I did keep the box for that vacuum Leslie brought for me. You never know. I may someday need that. The vacuum works beautifully at this point. Tomorrow I will vacuum again and clean the bare floors in the kitchen and bathroom.

More even later...

I did go to exercise class and afterward Kay and Sheilah asked me to compose a letter to send to Deloris, who manages the senior center.  Deloris has had a several serious health problems including a serious heart condition. She has been off work for several months with one health problem after another. Sheilah and Kay have been covering for her. I had warned Bob, who is on the board there, that there could be serious legal problems if anything serious happened while Deloris was on the job unless she had obtained releases from her doctors. He must have shared that with the rest of the board and they agreed they needed to get those medical releases.

So today, Sheilah and Kay asked me to write the letter for them. I got that done and took it back up to them before I went to Walmart to get my groceries. They were satisfied with it and will get the board members to sign it before sending it on to Deloris.

More later...Missy is calling me. :)

Sure enough, she had used the litter box and wanted it cleaned out ASAP. That cat!

I had the tomato basil soup and cheese and crackers for lunch and it is really good! I got it at Walmart. Its kind of expensive but not near as expensive as Schwans. One can of two bowls was $2.37 plus tax and the brand is excellent. Gay told me about it. It is called "Amy's Organic Soup".  I will have to tell Leslie about it. Schwans is $9.99 plus tax and delivery cost. Of course there is more in the Schwans package ...enough for about three bowls.

More later...

Well, the Journal came and I read it in about five minutes and took it over to Marilyn's mailbox. In about 40 minutes, I will go up to the First Baptist Church where the Bloodmobile is held. Kay will be there to help with the escorting.

So more even later...

I worked the Red Cross Bloodmobile with Kay until shortly after 6:00PM and then came on home and took Missy out on the patio for awhile. Later about 7:00 I took my bath and laid down on the sofa to watch "Nature" on Amazon Prime TV. I couldn't convince Missy to join me there. After half the program, I awoke on the sofa and then noticed Missy was lying next to  me. I had been exhausted and went to sleep during the program.

I went on in to bed and she soon followed me there.

We don't appreciate sleep if we sleep well. I am like you
often I get just a few hours of sleep if something is on my
mind. It wears one down!

It may be the mileage but I blame the blue light that emits from the computer, the cell phone and the TV that destroys the natural melatonin our own body provides to help us sleep.
