Bob and I had intended to have breakfast and then go to Joplin to eat at Olive Garden
Instead he had an incident of A-Fib this morning. His heart was
beating between 150 and 170 beats a minute and he had chest pain and a sore
lower jaw when he called me and asked me to take him to the emergency room. His
physician had recently changed his blood pressure medicine to a blood pressure
medicine that did not regulate his heartbeat too. He had had an incident of
A-Fib two years ago and then doctor he had then had started that good med.. The latest new one was
supposed to have also treated his essential tremor but it did not regulate his heartbeat. .
He had been on this new med less then
two weeks when this incident happened this morning. It took them several hours
to get his heart regulated and his chest pain gone. He was in ICU until about
4:00 this afternoon. He is now in the hospital in a room. His doctor came into ICU after
noon and examined him and wants him to stay in the hospital for some additional
tests. His regular heartbeat is around 40 beats per minute and the doctor wants
it to be 60. He says 40 is way too low and dangerous. He may have blood clots.
He is fine now but will be in the
hospital for those additional tests.
I just thought those of you who are my blogging friends would like to know and pray for him.
Many thanks for your happy thoughts and prayers.

So glad you were there to get him to the ER. Prayers coming his way from Hutch.
Please next time call 911...I once took care of a man in ICU..his wife drove...he collapsed into her causing an accident and they both wound up in ICU.
Certainly will pray ! And right this minute too!
Thank you, gals. I appreciate that and I'm sure Bob will too.
Thank you too, Marlu. That's good advice.
This must have been so upsetting for you both. I'm glad that he is being taken care of in the hospital. And yes, I'm praying, too.
Actually, Clair, we were both pretty calm about it. He had had that same problem two years ago and we knew what to expect.
